As part of the process of developing the narrative for a Just Energy Transition in the Cesar Corridor, a series of communication materials was produced to capture the voices of the local community regarding the changes the region is undergoing in the context of the energy transition.<\/p>\n

This process resulted in a document<\/strong><\/a>, which serves as an advocacy tool built on the perspectives of local communities and stakeholders. The narrative captures expectations, needs, and gaps identified in areas directly impacted by coal mining, and provides a better understanding of local priorities regarding the region\u2019s future. The narrative was structured around an analysis of five key dimensions: governance<\/a>, education<\/a>, economy<\/a>, sustainability<\/a>, and energy<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Based on this narrative, audio stories<\/strong><\/a> were also developed\u2014one for each dimension\u2014with the aim of communicating the main findings and reflections of the process in an accessible way, broadening the narrative\u2019s reach and facilitating its dissemination to different audiences.<\/p>\n

In addition, the documentary<\/strong> <\/a>\u201cNarrative of the Just Energy Transition in the Cesar Corridor\u201d was produced, bringing together testimonies and accounts from communities, local stakeholders, and businesses regarding the changes taking place in the region. In a region historically shaped by coal mining, the documentary presents diverse perspectives on the present and future of regional development in the context of the energy transition.<\/p>\n

Complementing this, a podcast<\/strong> <\/a>was produced that captures these voices in audio format, with the aim of facilitating access to information and broadening awareness of the process in the region.<\/p>\n

The documentary and radio piece were produced by La Rotativa and form part of the process of constructing the Narrative of the Just Energy Transition in the Cesar Corridor, promoted by ICSI \u2013 Insuco Center for Social Innovation, the Cesar and La Guajira Development and Peace Program (PDPCG), and EITI Colombia, with support from the Ford Foundation.<\/p>\n

This process is carried out within the framework of the Observatory of Territorial Transformations (OTT), a methodology focused on monitoring and supporting transformations in the territories through the generation and analysis of social, economic, and territorial data.<\/p>\n

Through these products, the Just Energy Transition Narrative aims to contribute to the regional dialogue, amplify the voices of local communities, and provide input for informed decision-making in the context of the energy transition in the Cesar Corridor.<\/p>\n
